Healthy Berry Oat Squares

Serves: 4

Prep time: 5 min

Baked time: 45 min

Total time: 50 min

Ingredients:

Dry Ingredients: 1 cup rolled oats (I use gluten-free oats)

a little pinch of salt or omit

Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 350F. 2. Add peeled ripe bananas to a baking dish 8x8. Mashed them with a fork then add water, vanilla extract, chia seeds and maple syrup. Once everything is well mixed add the berries then mix again. 3. Add all the dry ingredients and then sir, spread evenly. 4. Bake for 45 min. Once done remove it from the oven and let it cool down for at least 10 min before serving as it needs to firm up a little. Tips: You can omit maple syrup if you avoiding processed sugars. It's still sweet with the bananas as long as they are ripe. Ripe bananas it's a must in this recipe (brown spots).

You can double the recipe if you are serving more people.

Store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
