What is a Health Coach?

A health coach is a motivator, accountability partner, inspirer, and cheerleader. Health coaches help people improve their health and happiness, change their habits, and become empowered.

A health coach’s role is to help you set health goals, create an action plan to achieve those goals, break negative patterns and habits, and replace them with healthy ones that serve you. Your coach helps you follow through with your goals by offering ongoing support, accountability, encouragement, and guidance.

My Philosophy

I firmly believe that we can’t have physical health without mental health. Good food choices make a big difference, but diet isn’t the only area of our wellness that needs attention.

We all carry so much weight from the past, whether we were bullied as children, lost a loved one, or went through a difficult breakup. Those experiences are stored in our body and it's up to us to deal with them so we are truly able to let them go. When we release this weight, we release the physical symptoms it causes in our bodies.

We always have a choice. We really just have to ask ourselves one question: What needs to change for me to heal or be happier?

We create so many stories in our minds, but they are just thoughts. As the Buddha said, “What you think, you become.”

When I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I was in shock. Instead of accepting that there was no cure, I made the choice not to suffer any longer, and I took a leap of faith. I worked hard to change my thought patterns and habits. Today, I no longer have fibromyalgia.
